In the USA gas prices started going up about four years ago but of recent it has tripled selling up to $4.09 in most cities. For some of us that have to drive between work, school, picking up the kids and grocery gas price has become a major expense and every penny spent hurts.
Gas prices are at the highest it has ever been and it’s not changing anytime soon. It only goes down 10 cents and then up 80 cents. Most of us have realized that it is not going down to $2 again or anytime soon and have started adopting measures to lower the gas bill.
There are many books written these days on tips, tricks and techniques on how to lower your gas bill. Some of the tips include these highlights:
• Reducing commute: Moving closer to work or even working from home.
• Buying a smaller car: The lighter the car the less gas it will consume.
• Avoiding stops: Highways are better on gas than local roads.
• Maintaining your speed: Do not follow too close, it will cause an unnecessary braking.
• Take off Slow from a full stop: Quick acceleration uses more gas.
• Reduce the use of A/C: Especially at lower speed, open the windows.
• Park in the shade: You will need less A/C and remember that gas do evaporate if it is hot.
• Coast when ever possible: For manual transmission vehicle coast between traffic lights.
• Check you tire pressure: Keep your tires at the recommended pressure.
• Take the first parking spot: Avoid driving all over the parking lot looking for a space.
• Clean out unnecessary objects: The lighter the car the less gas it will consume.
• Check you air filter: Dirty air filter prevents the smooth flow of air for combustion.
• Use synthetic oil: Especially on older cars synthetic oil will cause your engine to run better.
• Regular maintenance: Tune up when necessary, your car will run more efficiently.
• Use a fuel injector cleaner: Clean your fuel system occasionally, dirty injectors burn gas poorly.
These are just some of the ways to help ease the pain of rising gas prices. Just of recent the most talked about, most appealing and controversial gas saving system is running your car on water. This does not mean pouring water into your gas tank. There is a kit that will convert water to HHO or Brown’s gas with the help of sodium hydroxide. The gas produced fuels your car along with gasoline.
This is actually not a new invention or a new knowledge in 1874 in a novel titled The Mysterious Island, Jules Gabriel Verne a French author who pioneered the science-fiction genre wrote “I believe that water will one day be employed as fuel, that hydrogen and oxygen which constitute it, used singly or together, will furnish an inexhaustible source of heat and light, of an intensity of which coal is not capable” ever since then many researcher and scientist have spend years trying to develop and tap into this source of energy. Dennis Klein said “I always believed that water held the solution to the world’s energy problems. I have made it my life’s work and our company’s mission to solve that problem”.
Their life long work developing the idea of converting water with electrolysis into hydrogen and oxygen gas called HHO that burns beautifully and provides tons of energy is proven to work. The result is that it works as fuel and can be used in automobile but unlike gasoline it greatly reduces emissions. Up until recently the converter kit to convert your car to run on water could only be installed by a professional. Luckily, the last six months has seen great improvement, now there are several kits and guides which shows how to install it yourself – using low cost materials and without any technical knowledge.
The author has provided a review page for all the different kinds of converter kits and provided more information to help you learn about this new technology in a snap.
